Bro, I’m not getting one thing. When Gon already has the game then why he’s trying to buy the game in auction?
I mean I can get it that they are trying to get the information but why are they buying the game when they have it already? I think they have the memory card for the game but they don’t have the special JS console for it. As per the HUNTER WEBSITE, the game is infused with Nen which allow their players to enter the game. If my guess is correct then it means that they can’t use ordinary console to play this game.

The memory card only contains the save data for the game not the game itself, so they cant play the game with only the memory card.

His mother was probably hunter and die, and reason for gon don't want to listen about his mother is because his instinct tell him something bad might happen to his mother, he might probably thought she is dead, no matter what happen he should listen about his mother, it doesn't make sense to find only his father lol put aside considering aunt as his mother
